One Room Challenge: Week 4

Week four of the One Room Challenge is here and has brought with it some changes to the plan. Click here for the past three weeks of the challenge. If you're new here, welcome!

I love the way that things are shaping up. This room is quickly turning into my favorite in the house thanks to the family pieces and the striped floors.

If you read last week, then you know that I went with this bead chandelier. I'm still waiting for it to ship so please cross your fingers that it's here for the big reveal!

Also changing this week, I decided to go with pinch pleat white curtains instead of pelmet boxes. I think that they are going to add the softness that is missing in the room.

Also happening? Brunschwig & fils Les Touches. It's one of my all-time favorites so I'm having a pillow made for the glider.

I've also decided to keep the art to (mostly) family pieces. Growing up, my grandma started a collection of fairy tale plates for me–they are amazing pieces of art and we started hanging them this week. (We = my very patient husband)

That's it for this week. Now, go visit Calling It Home to seee all the other amazing bloggers participating in the One Room Challenge linking party!
