Bunny + Coffee Table + Martha Stewart + Gold

If it were up to me, I'd paint the entire house and everything inside of it. There is something very soothing and rewarding about the painting process. (Minus, blue paint in the hair)

In an attempt to work with what we have, I've been looking at the pieces that we have around our house that I can rework. And, then I came across this picture below on Bunny Williams Facebook page of her new showroom in Bangkok. You know those moments when your brain starts going a million miles a second? That happened.

It was like a beacon of light in the middle of beauty. I had, not two days earlier, been telling Doug that we are getting a new coffee table the minute we move because I felt like ours didn't go with all the gold items in our living room, blah blah blah.

It was on. Bunny Williams as inspiration, our coffee table & Martha Stewart gold paint. A match made in coffee table heaven, if you ask me.

Not a drastic change, but a little gilding goes a long way. Can you see the old silver color on the bottom? It was a strange antiqued color with random small black streaks that created the antiqued look and it was ready for its makeover.

Hello!

More pictures of this room soon! Promise!
